Elizabeth Aviles, MSN,APRN-CNM

in New York. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science

in Nursing degree from the College of Mount Saint

Vincent in Riverdale, NY and a Bachelor of Arts de-

gree in Black and Puerto Rican Studies from

Hunter College, NYC, NY.

She fell in love with pregnancy and childbirth first

when she witnessed her cat give birth in a Brooklyn

basement, and later again, as she expected her

first child during her maternity rotation in nursing

school.

She worked as a registered nurse in several spe-

cialties including Rehabilitation, Urology, Medical

Surgical, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Progressive care,

and Intensive care, Post Partum and Labor and

Delivery.

Her most recent focus has been in the area she is

most passionate for, Labor and Delivery. Just 2

years into Labor these studies re-ignited her life-

long dream to become a Midwife.

Elizabeth obtained her Masters degree graduating

with honors from Frontier Nursing University’s

Midwifery program. She is a Texas Board of

Nursing licensed Advanced Practice Registered

Nurse and Certified through the American Midwifery

Certification Board as a Certified Nurse Midwife.

Elizabeth is very happy to be serving our patients at

Greenville OBGYN.
